The AED Center on AIDS & Community Health is governed by a strong commitment to building capacity and assisting organizations and communities in their development of the necessary skills and resources for sustainable progress. Supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through a contract for technical support, we provide technical assistance in the area of HIV Prevention Community Planning to CDC's 65 state and local planning jurisdictions. In addition, the Center provides technical assistance to health organizations, local health departments, community-based organizations, and non-governmental organizations through directly negotiated agreements.
